Hello Everyone
This was my previous post
"My laptop's touchpad is having some issue which is beyond my comprehension.
It stops working suddenly, most of the time when laptop is turned on touchpad stops working, it starts working when I open the Synaptics app from start and reset the devices. It also stops working in the middle of some activity. Then it is required to repeat the same thing.
Things I have tried so far.
1. Updated drivers from device manager
2. Downloaded latest drivers from HP site
3. Updated Windows
4. Installed Windows updates
5. Installed windows to factory settings
Kindly help me fix this issue."
I tried doing everything support told me but of no use and then i installed the drivers of latest HP OMEN Model available and my touchpad started working.
It worker for few days and then again same.
Then i blocked the drivers for being update via Hardware id.
Still it faces the same issue.
Need help how to get it sorted once and for all.

Hi @huzeypha,
I am sorry to hear that the above steps did not help much but i do appreciate your efforts in performing the troubleshooting steps.
Here are some more steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:
Update Drivers:
- Go to the Device Manager (right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager).
- Expand the "Mice and other pointing devices" section.
- Right-click on the Synaptics Touchpad and select "Update driver."
- Choose "Search automatically for updated driver software."
Reinstall Touchpad Drivers:
- In Device Manager, right-click on the Synaptics Touchpad and select "Uninstall device."
- Restart your laptop. Windows should automatically reinstall the touchpad drivers.
Check Touchpad Settings:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Touchpad.
- Ensure the touchpad is enabled and adjust any settings as needed.
System Restore:
- If the problem started recently, consider performing a system restore to a point before the issue began.
System Recovery:
