Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello, I’m new here and not sure where to start. I have a laptop purchased 3 Christmases ago and the warranty has expired and so has the software because the laptop isn’t working. Is there anything that I can do to get it working again. When it was under warranty, HP offered me a software, but I was unable to download and tried for a year. Please Help, I’m desperately needing it for a new career. Thank you.

First off, HP will not provide support because the warranty is expired.  So, even if their is an HP Service Center nearby, there is no point in taking it there or sending it there.

Second, you don't say WHAT software is out of date -- and that is important.

Why? Because if it is the HP or Windows OS software, if you buy a 32GB USB stick, you might be able to make Recovery Media you can use to restore it to working condition -- but you would lose all of your personal data in the process of doing this. If you want to try this, you need to let us know.

Also, because if it is the application software, we can do nothing about that.  You would have to contact the application vendor sites and download the updated versions and install them yourself.
