It happens more and more that Outlook closes when I try to close a message which was opened from the inbox.
Is it possible that certain mouse adjusments can solve this problem?

Outlook is a M$ software.  I would assume, you know what that means, that there is either an OE or the software is corrupted.  I would recommend looking over an Outlook guide to see if there is an action that you happen to be doing that causes the reaction that is occurring.  IMHO, it probably will not help to make any changes in the mouse software settings, but one never knows for sure.
