Installed latest driver of Intel thermal framework and chipset driver but it seems like there is always a yellow sign on the device manager.

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

There are no compatible drivers for this device.

@yoonghan,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • Are you facing any issues with the computer?
  • From which website did you download the drivers?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?

While you respond to that, I recommend you download and install HP support assistant and it will automatically detect and install all the latest driver for your computer.

Download link: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp77001-77500/sp77062.exe

Here is how it is done.

  1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

Click Updates in the My notebook pane

  2. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

Updates list in HP Support Center

  3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

  4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

  5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

  6. Perform any other update management actions as needed.

    • Postpone an update: Click Remind me, and then select a time preference.

    • Delete an available update: Click the Delete icon  to remove the update from the list and record it in the action log.

    • Review updates status: Click Action log below the list to view installed, postponed, or deleted updates.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

I dont face any problems using my computer. I recently  changed my HDD to a SSHD, so i reformat everything.

I've used HP Support Asisstant and everything is already up-to-date.

The website I used to install the drivers are the one given by someone who replied me in the previous post similar.

After reviewing your post thoroughly, I would suggest you follow the steps below:

1.      From Start, search for device manager and select Device Manager from the results.

2.      Right-click the device in the list.

3.      Select Uninstall from the menu that appears.

4.      After the device is uninstalled, choose Action on the menu bar.

5.      Select Scan for hardware changes to reinstall the driver.

Note You may be prompted to provide the path of the driver.  If you are asked for the driver and you do not have it, you can try to download the latest driver from the hardware vendor’s website.
