Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I see a lot of processes running and my consuming 40%+ memory. Is there a list of services and processes that must me running for the functioning of the system and a way to turn off all the rest?

Sorry, but there is not a single answer to that.

 

If you look through this thread, you will see tasks that you can safely disable to reduce the runtime demands:  http://www.blackviper.com/service-configurations/black-vipers-windows-10-service-configurations/
