Hi @Hasuman,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If you want to remove or disable HP Remote Control (HP Remote Support or HP Remote Assistance) on your HP notebook, here’s how you can do it safely:

Option 1: Uninstall HP Remote Support Software

  1. Press Win + R, type appwiz.cpl, and press Enter.
  2. In Programs and Features, look for:
    • HP Remote Support
    • HP Remote Assistance
    • HP Support Assistant (if you want to remove all HP remote tools)
  3. Select the program and click Uninstall.
  4. Restart your notebook.

Option 2: Disable Remote Assistance in Windows

  1. Press Win + R, type sysdm.cpl, and press Enter.
  2. Go to the Remote tab.
  3. Under Remote Assistance, uncheck Allow Remote Assistance connections to this computer.
  4. Click Apply and OK.

Option 3: Turn Off HP Support Assistant Remote Help

If you want to keep HP Support Assistant but disable remote control:

  1. Open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon).
  3. Disable any Remote Assistance or Share My Screen options.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
