When I start the laptop, there appears a black screen with text about an issue with the battery. It says that the battery may be dying, it should be changed into new and I should ask more information from HP techcenter. How will I know the condition of my laptop's battery and what to do if there acctually is a problem?
I have HP Pavilion-15-ck001no.

Welcome to the HP Community --
- If the battery is dying, dead, failing, issuing failure messages, it is time to replace the battery.
- If the battery won't hold charge, dies suddenly, or doesn't work properly, it is time to replace the battery.
- If the battery is swollen, inflated, or misshapen, it is time to replace the battery.
- If the computer is out of warranty, know that the original battery supplied with the system typically lasts as long as the original warranty.
What?? The battery does not fail because the warranty expires. It is true that systems that only have a one year warranty do not get the "top of the line" super batteries that are included in the more expensive computers and workstations. If the system comes with a three year warranty, it is generally also supplied with a battery that is expected to last about three years.

"Fat" Battery / Bloated Battery / Swollen Battery – Sealed / Internal Battery
All batteries die, some do so quietly and some first inflate and then fail.
Swollen battery might be hiding OR there might be evidence that the battery has inflated. For example, notebook case warps or won’t close, touch-pad stops working, “odd” bulging near the keyboard.
If the battery is in a swollen or bloated condition, the battery must be removed from the computer and replaced. There are no other remedies, tests, or useful options.
