Hi all,
this is not model specific. I would like to install both HP Support Assistant and HP Hardware Diagnostics packages in Audit Mode, with the end goal of making an image of the disk. However, neither program works when installed in this way.
If you install HP Support Assistant in Audit Mode it won't work, even directly after installation. It gives the error "enabling services is not installed or not running".
The hardware diagnostic program will run directly after installation, however after running sysprep it disappears from the start menu and I cannot even see the EXE (which seems to be HPHwDiag.exe).
Is there any info on installing these two packages in Audit Mode?
For reference, I am using these installers: sp144583.exe and sp144692.exe
The issue seems to exist when using Windows 10 or Windows 11.
thanks in advance, Andy.
