Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Im trying to play my sims 4 game but when ive clicked on it a pop up is saying that the game is already running when its not. yes ive checked task manager and its not on there. ive also unistalled and reinstalled the game aswell as the platforms it runs off origin and steam... ive been on discord and tried everything theyve said please help
