Product: HPNotebook G72-B66
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I tried scrubbing this laptop to give away.  I have a program to do it  Iolo System Mechanic

It says drive is scrubbed but  the drive (Recovery Drive D) which claims it is 17.0GB and has 2.45 GB free

what is contained in this drive and why wouldn't it clean out entire drive when scrubbed

It contains Windows 7, drivers and some pre-installed software from factory. It ONLY works with Recovery Manager to allow you to go back to Factory settings. It is a long, very long time by now, and could be useless.
