Hi,

 

I have a HP Notebook with 8GB of ram and I want to upgrade to 16GB instead of purchasing a new computer. The reason for my upgrade would be to utilize more memory on my computer as I have added new gaming apps. I was wondering where should I go to get the upgrade? However, I was thinking maybe it will be cheaper to do it from home, but I need help finding the right ram products to do the home install.. The laptop model is HP Notebook - 17z-ca000 CTO. Please some help me.

It says: AMD A9-9425 Radeon R5, 5 compute cores 2C+3G, 3100mhz, 2 core(s)

Below is the link to the service manual for you notebook.

 

The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.

Since your PC has the A9 processor, you can install a max of 2 x 8 GB of memory in your notebook.

 

This would be a compatible 8 GB memory chip for your model...

The service manual also has the memory removal and replacement procedure (chapter 6).
