I bought HP ENVY x360. I am facing the same issue. I have gone through the solutions provided by HP assistant. But still facing the same problem. Help me out with this.

Try updating the computer - 

 

Step 1 Windows Updates - 

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates. 
2) Check for updates. 
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer. 

 

Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates - 

1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant. 
2) Check for updates. 
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

As you mentioned, I have installed the Windows updates and updates from the HP Support assistant. Still, I am getting the message as HP Pen Control is not compatible with this computer. Annotation 2019-03-31 181813.png

Try re-installing the HP Pen Control app - 

 

1) In the search box, type and open "Apps & Features". 

2) Click on the "HP Pen Control" app and click on "Uninstall". 

3) Restart the computer. 

4) Install the app from the Windows Store.

Still no improvement. HP Pen Control is not compatible with this computer.
