Don.
Use that code to go into the BIOS.
Disable all passwords that are enabled.
If asked for the CURRENT password use that code.
If asked for NEW password just hit enter.
If asked to VERIFY password just hit enter.
Save and exit.

In that case, check the following.
1. The halt code ( generated after 3 incorrect entries ) that you've posted is correct ( forinstance be certain of the difference between a 0 (Zero) and a upper case letter O - a Zero will have a dot in the centre ).
2. You entering the code on a QWERTY keyboard.
3. Shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery. Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds. Plug in the AC Adapter ( leave the battery out for the moment ), start the notebook and try entering the code again.
4. Try entering the code via an external usb QWERTY keyboard.
