Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
It really depends on the version of MS Office.
With MS Office 2010 and earlier, the product key was stored in the registry when the product was activated. Those registry entries can be retrieved using a product known as Belarc Advisor: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
Starting with Office 2013, MS introduced something known as Click-To-Run (CTR) and in these cases, the product key is ONLY stored on the MS Activation servers, as the product is downloaded and installed from MS. IF you have one of these versions, you can ONLY get the product key from your MS Office online account.
If the product was NOT installed, then when you got the PC, you also got a card containing the product key. If you lost that, you are out of luck, as HP does not keep any record of individual product keys associated with individual PCs.
Good Luck
