Example: Spectre

I have in July 2019, bought my HP Spectre  x360 15-df0004na 8th generation intel core i7, 512 GB SSD, 8GB SDRAM. I have been noticing that whilst using it (which i don't do often), the system suddenly becomes unresponsive (hang) and i will have to then use the power off button to switch it off and back on. This cannot be right for a brand new system and i am beginning to feel there is something wrong.

I will appreciate help on this so i know whether HP will have to send me a new product and take this one back. I will not be prepared for any repair or anything like that. It's only a month old and should not be acting up in this way.

Hi

So a new and little used PC slows/hangs.

I would make CERTAIN that Fast Start UP is DISABLED.

I would leave the PC running, probably overnight, to allow Microsoft and HP to install, potentially, gigabytes of Updates.
