Hi:

If you just upgraded to the latest version of W10, then there is probably a very large (several GB) Windows.old folder left from the old version of W10.

If you are 100% certain you have no reason to go back to the original W10 that came with your notebook, you can delete the windows.old folder right now, or it will automatically delete itself after 30 days.

To delete the Windows.old folder, run the disk cleanup utility.

After the disk cleanup window shows up, click on the Cleanup system files box on the lower left.  The disk cleanup utility will run again, and then when the window appears, you can check to delete all the files listed, one of which should be the Windows.old folder.

That should free up a decent amount of space.

Bear in mind, I think those notebooks only come with 32 GB hard drives, which isn't very much nowadays.

Thank you so much for the solution! I feel such a relief now! How do I run a disk clean up? Please let me know. Thank you!

You're very welcome.

On the bottom left side of the taskbar, click on the Windows start button.

Scroll down the all programs list and under Windows Administrative tools, you will find the Disk Cleanup application.

Then follow my instructions above to run it.

Also, if you have a portable storage device...on your C:\ drive there should be a SWSetup folder.

That contains all of the drivers and available software that came with your PC.

You do not need that folder to run your PC, so you can delete that too after you copy it to a portable hard drive (in case you want to reinstall any of the programs that came with your PC).

That should free up another GB or so of space.

You can just right click on that folder and select Delete and then empty the recycle bin.
