SD Port not working, Windows 7

Hello all, i recently factory restored my laptop and now my SD port located on the left front of my laptop is no longer picking up my SD cards. It was working fine before my recovery. Im sure im missing a driver i just dont know what to download, thanks!

Download the latest SD card driver directly from Realtek.

 

1st driver on the page...

Check to make sure your notebook's USB 3 ports are working too.   See this discussion...same notebook, person also factory reset the PC...

Thank you for your time it now works again! I just now noticed that i can't play any mp4 files, would you know any fixes for this?

You're very welcome.

 

Doesn't the DVD playing software allow for playing of MP4 files? 

 

Or Windows Media Player which is included with W7?
