I HAVE A HP C6671IPD LAPTOP USING WINDOWS 11 BUT MY NORTON SECURITY WON`T RUN,I WAS ON THE PHONE FOR 2 HOURS LAST NIGHT TRYING TO GET SOME SENSE (AND HELP) OUT OF NORTON,WITH NO JOY.I`VE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH NORTON BEFORE. I KEEP GETTING THE MESSAGE NORTON IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 11. SO,AM I COVERED BY WINDOWS SECURITY? PLEASE TAKE INTO ACCOUNT I AM NOT THE SHARPEST TOOL IN THE TOOLBOX WHEN IT COMES TO COMPUTERS,I`M 65,AND I`M A BIT STRESSED OUT BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN LET DOWN BY NORTON SECURITY WHEN I THOUGHT IT WOULD RUN ON WINDOWS 11. ANY HELP IN EASY TO UNDERSTAND LANGUAGE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED - THANKS 😊

Make sure you uninstall Norton.
Click on the Windows security shield and look for any errors.
Should look like this with no "X" or yellow "!" anywhere

I cannot find " HP C6671IPD LAPTOP" in any HP database.
In any event I recommend you use the built-in windows 11 protection.
Many new HP laptops come with McAfee. Do not try to put Norton in if you are using McAfee.
