Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This laptop is incredibly slow, has been from the start. It's an HP i3-6100U CPU @ 2.30GHz,.4.00GB    64-bit OS using Windows 10 Home.  I was in the Startup area, deleting things I figured I didn't need but I know nothing of what I'm doing, just following written instructions of what to try.  Does anybody have a list of what I do need to keep, at Startup?

If messing with Startup won't help much, is there something I could replace in it to make it faster?  I know it's getting old but there is a lot of unused space in it.  I'd like to swap laptops, but I can't stand how slow it is.  My laptop is older than this one but it's faster, a lot faster.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
