  • Which version of macOS is installed on your Mac?
  • Do you already have the HP App installed on your Mac, or are you using Apple’s built‑in Image Capture/Preview tools?
  • When you say “scan,” are you hoping to scan directly to the Mac’s desktop, to email, or to cloud storage?
