Hello.
1. My laptop freezes after going into sleep mode and doesn't respond to any commands. Meanwhile, the fans keep running, the laptop heats up, but there is no display, sound, or keyboard backlight. Holding the power button for 20 seconds does nothing, but after 10-20 minutes, the laptop unfreezes, and the display comes back on as it functions normally. My question is, why does this happen, and why can't I force shutdown the laptop by holding the power button for 15-20 seconds?
2. I experience severe laptop lag when using PD TYPE-C 100W charging. The CPU frequency is throttled. If the battery is below 50%, the laptop lags badly when charging. If it's above 50%, it’s still tolerable but worse than using the laptop on battery power alone. Why is this happening when the charger has enough power for normal use?
I am very DISAPPOINTED with my HP laptop experience because, even after the first unboxing and initial setup, the laptop gave a blue screen and hard rebooted multiple times when I tried to configure the keyboard backlight. This is terrible and disgr
aceful.

Hi @Bobzak
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
The 1st issue you mentioned can be resolved by performing there steps:
Update bios: Click here
Update graphics driver : Click here select your OS and find the driver listed.
You may also do HP Performance Tune Up : Click here
Regarding the second issue, it appears that your laptop requires more power than the 100W charger, which is insufficient for optimal performance during gaming. For your HP OMEN 16-xf0000, you will need a 280W Smart AC power adapter to ensure adequate power supply for gaming and demanding tasks.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

HI, @Raj2111
1. Update bios
a: The BIOS was previously updated, the update does not provide any improvements
2. Update graphics driver
a: The drivers were both updated and completely removed. The situation did not change.
3. You may also do HP Performance Tune Up
a: I don't play games using a 100 watt power supply, in resource-intensive applications I use a 280 watt power supply, but it is huge and not convenient to use in everyday use. I don't think that surfing the Internet requires a 280 watt power supply.
Moreover, when I play BATTLEFIELD 2044, the notebook often just goes into reboot and that's it. With this laptop, I can't even play games normally, so I don't even play games on it. And now it is generally impossible to use it normally, it freezes, the display can go out at any moment and it will freeze and will not respond to anything until it hangs up. THERE IS NO FORCED REBOOT BUTTON.
Power consumption when using resource-intensive applications 77.6w
Watching videos on YouTube 4K 60fps
In idle mode 37.1 watts or less
Why does he need a 280 watt power supply in this case?
I'm already very tired of this laptop
