Hope someone can help me. I purchased an HP OMEN laptop running Windows 10, Intel Core i7 and use it to remotely access Epic EHR (Microsoft Office was also loaded on the laptop). The Shift+F4 function does not work in Epic. I have done the following and nothing seems to work:
disabled and enabled the action keys, tried with another keyboard, tried different combinations of keys with F4, tried both right and left shift keys, changed the compatibility setting in Explorer. I have an older HP laptop that works perfectly with Epic. I also purchased an HP desktop running Windows 10 and that also works perfectly in Epic.
I am not computer savvy, but need this new laptop to work. Any suggestions?

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
The Riddle_Decipher is at your service.
I understand you the Shift+F4 key isn't working for the Epic EHR app,
I'll be glad to help you out, however, for an accurate solution I will need more details:
What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824
(Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).
Does the issue with the (Shift key + F4) appear only on that specific program or has it affected other applications as well?
If it's specific to one program alone and you've already checked with an alternate keyboard,
I recommend you the manufacturer of that application so that they could help you out.
If I have helped you resolve the issue,
feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon
followed by clicking on 'Accepted as Solution'
And Have a great day Ahead
