I want to play games on my laptop but my laptop don't have limit charge at 80%. Does playing games while plugged in can shorten lifespan of my battery? Why HP don't have charge limit at 80% on this laptop model?

Ohhhhh.... So what you can recommend or tricks to prevent battery swelling while gaming on this laptop? Cause if i play games on battery and recharge it, then battery cycle will greatly reduce.
I don't know why HP don't provide all their laptop an charging protection.

HP used to have a link regarding how to minimize risks to the battery.
I can pull up the cached page, but not the original one.

Gaming laptops have high-performance components such as dedicated graphics cards, high-performance processors with multiple cores, etc. To ensure that these components are functioning up to their full capacity, it is advised to keep your device plugged into an outlet.
