Sim Card application, where do i get the sim card driver for my laptop probook 4530s or how do i connect?

Hi:

 

All 4530s' have sim card slots.

 

What 90% of them don't have is the expensive, optional but required WWAN card that connects to the cell phone tower.

 

SIM cards don't need drivers.

You're very welcome.

 

Check the service manual for the list of supported WWAN cards, and make sure your notebook already has the antennas in place to connect to the WWAN card.

 

You can probably find a used one on eBay.

 

You can only install one of the supported WWAN cards listed in the service manual and they must have the HP part number on them or they will not work.

 

Chapter 3 has the list of parts, and chapter 4 has the installation procedure.

 

Also, check your notebook's support page to make sure there is W8.1 driver support for the wwan card, or it may not work.
