Hi @Saad01, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If the Sign Up/Login icon in HP Support Assistant is not working, try these troubleshooting steps:

Basic Troubleshooting

Restart HP Support Assistant

  • Close the application completely and reopen it.
  • Check if the issue persists.

Check Internet Connection

  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection.

Run HP Support Assistant as Administrator

  • Right-click on HP Support Assistant and select Run as administrator.

Advanced Solutions

1. Update HP Support Assistant

  • Download the latest version from the official HP website:
    HP Support Assistant Download
  • Uninstall the current version before installing the new one.

2. Clear HP Support Assistant Cache

  • Open File Explorer and go to:
    C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\HP\HP Support Framework
  • Delete the Cache folder and restart the application.

3. Check for Windows Updates

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  • Install any pending updates and restart your PC.

4. Try a Different Browser (For Web Login Issues)

  • If using HP Support Assistant's web-based login, try Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox.

5. Create an HP Account on the Website

  • If the in-app login fails, create an HP account manually at:
    HP Account Creation

6. Check Firewall & Antivirus Settings

  • Some security programs block HP Support Assistant’s connection.
    • Temporarily disable the firewall and antivirus.
    • Try signing in again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
