You don't need Autoruns after performing clean installation because  you will know yourself what you are installing yourself and what runs with your Windows.

I know it might be new to you but I have performed literally thousands of Windows installations and reinstallation in my life and it's no big deal at all. Don't worry and don't panic. 🙂

Genius is knowing who to ask and listening to them.  I am ready to make a Clean Install AND FEEL LIKE i AM IN GOOD HANDS.

Installation of Windows from DVD to PC completed successfully then I inserted a USB Flash Drive and copied MSE from it to the PC.   When I ran install I was told the file format was incompatible.  I attempted the installation from a different USB Flash Drive and it worked.  I now have MSE and Macrium Reflect installed and the System backed up to a USB FD.   The first FD was formatted to FAT32 could this have caused the incompatibility?

You need to download all your drivers from the Drivers' section, transfer them to computer you are reinstalling and install them. After that you will be able to use your wireless and wired card.

In your case now, if Windows has automatically installed driver for your LAN adapter and if you have a ISP/modem/router, you can even now connect the computer to the Network via the ethernet cable.

No, this shouldn't be a problem. FAT32 is an old file system but still common nowadays.

No idea what caused your problem but good news is that it works now (eventually)

Windows failed to activate - when I entered the first digit of for the OEM product key it said invalid number.    I downloaded Win 7 Pro 64-bit from Microsoft website, installed it to the same hard drive in the sme PC and I am using the OM product key - why doesn't it activate?
