HP Envy 2018
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I try to attach small and simple files (word, power point) to my emails and it takes far too long (it takes over 10 minutes in some cases). All the files are small (under 10 mb). ALso, I have another old laptop that doesn´t have this problem (so it is not a network speed issue). It also takes a bit longer to download files from trusted pages than in the other laptop. I wonder if there are any restrictions in place in the 2018 HP Envy laptops... Please help

@JBPinto

Is the OLD laptop also running Win10, or is it running an older OS version?

Also, what email client are you using that is taking so long for attachments?

Hi, The other laptop is much older, windows 7. In the meantime I temporarily turned off the firewall and my internet experience became much faster and I was able to attach some power pdf files that failed before, although it took about 15 min to attach 3 files. However the receiver said some of the files don´t open and to some it shows an message that the files are corrupt. This happens for gmail and outlook 365, in two different browsers, Chrome and Edge. Could it be due to my Office version (being recent and registered in another country)? It has become a real nuisance. Thanks
