HP Recommended
I have a sony DCR-HC40E that I am trying to connect up to my laptop. It seems to recognise the micro stick but wont play the tapes. When I download software from Sony it keeps coming up with the below message.
Anyone have a solution to what the problem might be?

How do you connect them, I believe the Camcorder uses 8mm tapes with DV format. Probably you need a right cable to connect to your computer to convert the DV format cueent format such as MP4.
