Subscription to Microsoft 365 I purchased with HP isn't activating properly

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This probably isn't the correct "category", but I'm getting the runaround from HP and really need an answer. I purchased a one-year license to the Microsoft Office 365 application at the time I purchased my computer. It was not installed when I received my computer, so I contacted sales support. They provided me instructions. I followed the instructions, but the system is treating my like a customer who just has a trial version. It keeps asking me to purchase an extension of my subscription. Has anyone else had this problem? When I call Microsoft support, I get an automated system that is no help whatsoever, so please don't advise me to contact Microsoft.

Although, I'll need some private information from you in order to create a case for you.

 

Please look for a private message requesting additional information. 

Keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers, case details, etc...).
