TPM update for HP Elite x2 1012 G1 Tablet

installed tpm update SP87492 and cleared tpm but still receiving error message for updating firmware.

current tpm specs:

manufacturer version: 7.40.2098.0

specification version: 2.0

PPI specification version 1.2

TPM specification sub-version 1.16

what can I do to udpate?

Okay, so I have read the instructions properly and ran the program. Received error message:

"Cannot find a valid TPM BIN file to do firmware switching. It can be that the firmware is already at the version you want to switch to"

your TPM is version 7.40.2098.0

when you have expanded the sp87492, you have TPMConfig.exe and TPMConfig64.exe

then there is the folder named "src"

fro SRC folder you have to move or copy the file TPM20_7.40.2098.0_to_TPM20_7.63.3353.0.BIN in the same folder where you have TPMConfig.exe , than execute TPMConfig or TPMConfig64.exe.

It will update your TPM 2.0 firmware to latest version.
