@Raj212, Welcome to the HP Support Community – it’s great to have you here!
I appreciate you taking the time to share your question. I'm more than happy to assist with this and provide a solution that works for you.
If both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi adapters are missing from Device Manager and you're seeing Code 45: "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer", it typically indicates a hardware disconnection or driver/service failure. Let's go through a step-by-step approach to resolve this:
Perform a Hard Reset
This helps reinitialize hardware connections.
- Power off the laptop.
- Unplug the power adapter.
- Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the power and boot up the laptop.
Check BIOS Settings
Ensure wireless devices are enabled in BIOS.
- Restart the laptop and press Esc or F10 repeatedly to enter BIOS.
- Navigate to System Configuration > Built-in Device Options.
- Make sure Wireless LAN and Bluetooth are enabled.
- Save changes and exit.
Reinstall Network Drivers
Use HP’s official drivers to avoid compatibility issues.
Download and install:
- Realtek RTL8723BE Wi-Fi Driver
- Realtek Bluetooth Driver
After installation, restart your PC.
Run HP Hardware Diagnostics
This checks if the wireless card is physically detected.
- Press F2 during startup to enter HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
- Run the Component Test > Network Test.
- If the wireless adapter is not detected, it may be a hardware issue.
Alternatively, download the tool: HP PC Hardware Diagnostics | HP® Support
Check Windows Services
Ensure required services are running.
- Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Ensure these services are Running and Startup Type = Automatic:
- Bluetooth Support Service
- WLAN AutoConfig
Check for Windows Updates
Sometimes missing drivers are restored via updates.
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Click Check for updates.
- Install any pending updates and restart.
I hope your issue is now resolved. If not, feel free to reply and we’ll continue helping until everything’s sorted!
