Okay, so I have this issue with my laptop keyboard's backlighting. The issue is, whatever key I try pressing on the keyboard, none of them turns the backlighting off. I find this an issue becuase of a number of reasons, chief among them that the backlighting is distracting and probably a load on the battery too. I think the problem lies somewhere  in this being a Japanese model (the keyboard has what I believe are Hiragana symbols. I've tried pressing F5 AND F12. The key that's supposed to turn off the backlighting, which is F11 and has the coreesponding symbol on it, also doesn't work. I've tried using a japanese langage setting but the F11 key does the same thing it does in the English language setting, which is putting the browser window into fullscreen mode. I've tried updating the hot key support but that hasn't woorked either. I've also tried updating the drivers, but nothing has worked. The backlighting is still an eyesore. I am a complete computer novice. Please help me.
