Hi @Omen16-wd0770tx ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing warranty dispute issues with your OMEN by HP gaming laptop.

Please refer to this document: HP PCs, printers - Dispute a warranty status

If your OMEN by HP 16.1 Inch Gaming Laptop is experiencing issues where it's stuck and the Wi-Fi is not working, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the problem:

Restart the Laptop: Simple as it sounds, restarting your laptop can often resolve many temporary issues, including problems with the Wi-Fi connection.

Check Wi-Fi Switch and Settings: Ensure that the physical Wi-Fi switch on the laptop is turned on. Additionally, make sure the Wi-Fi settings are correctly configured. You can access these settings in the control panel or system preferences, depending on your operating system.

Toggle Airplane Mode: Turn on Airplane mode for a few seconds and then turn it off. This can sometimes reset the wireless connection.

Update Wi-Fi Drivers: Outdated or corrupted Wi-Fi drivers can cause connectivity issues. Visit the official HP support website and download the latest Wi-Fi drivers for your laptop model.

Check for Windows Updates: Ensure that your operating system is up to date. Windows updates often include fixes for various issues, including those related to connectivity.

Reset the Wi-Fi Router: If possible, reset your Wi-Fi router. This involves turning it off, waiting for a minute, and then turning it back on. This can resolve issues related to the router or the network.

Run Network Troubleshooter: Most operating systems have built-in network troubleshooters. Run the network troubleshooter to diagnose and fix common connectivity issues.

Check for Interference: Other electronic devices or neighboring Wi-Fi networks may cause interference. Move your laptop closer to the router and away from potential sources of interference.

Forget and Reconnect to the Wi-Fi Network: Forget the Wi-Fi network on your laptop and then reconnect. This can sometimes resolve authentication or connection issues.

Update BIOS: Check if there's a BIOS update available for your laptop on the HP support website. Updating the BIOS can sometimes address hardware-related issues.

Perform a System Restore (Windows): If the issue started recently, consider using System Restore to revert your system to a previous state when the Wi-Fi was working correctly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
