HP Recommended

I have an HP 14 laptop ( WIN 11 ) and when I purchased it I didn't realize that it was in what they call S Mode so my software is limited to what is available on the Microsoft store only. 

  I'd like to change that but I'd like to hear from people that have done so already .

maybe they have some advice for me & etc.
