Hi, i have a notebook HP 15s-FQ5038NQ and i cant find any touchpad driver, i've search automatically as well on HP site with detect product, there i can find only windows 11 and i have windows 10 64bit, i've tried to install those drivers and all works fine except the touchpad driver, my laptop can't detect any touchpad driver i've installed, i tried tons of drivers but none was working, can anyone please help me fix my touchpad driver issue?

Hi:

 

From what I can tell the 15s-fq5xxx model series that comes with Windows from HP only has driver support for W11.

 

I recommend you take the free upgrade from W10>W11 and then you should have everything work correctly.

 

The only other thing you can try is the W10 touchpad driver from the older 15s-fq2xxx model series, and I have no idea if:

 

Your notebook's model series also uses the Elan touchpad hardware

If it has the Elan touchpad hardware, will the older driver work?
