Example: Elitebook 8570P
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need help getting my Laptop into UEFI Mode, it appeals to support it in System Setup, but if I put it in Secure Boot and UEFI Mode, I can't locate a Boot Device I can use, I just offers ELI File or Network IP4, or IP6.

The only way I can get it to see a USB Drive is if I put it in Legacy Mode which I don't want.

So is there any help out there, a details guide to help me.

Thanks

Robert

In UEFI mode, you need boot media that was specifically create to be compatible with UEFI boot, including GPT formatting.

If you create the standard Windows boot device, it will be MBR formatting and Legacy boot.
