HP Envy 13
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, Have had my laptop for over 2 years now, and whenever using my USB adaptor I have always had the message 'Display may be limited' pop up when plugging it in, however the adaptor has always worked and been able to use a second display. I went to use the adaptor today however now the second display wont work. I have verified the adaptor is still working by testing on a second PC. I have plugged a USB C monitor in directly into the USB C port however that is not working either. Any suggestions on how to get it back working? I have already tried uninstalling the latest windows update however this has not worked. Thanks

What is your HP Envy 13  ? Does its USB-C port support Alt mode ?

Regards.

Hi, its the HP ENVY - 13-ah0003na. As far as I am aware it supports Alt mode, however the adaptor has been working every day for 2 years up until now. And the adaptor still works on other devices but doesn't work on my device.
