Hi, Anthony:
You need the validiy fingerprint sensor driver for that ID...
This package contains the driver that enables the Validity Fingerprint Sensor in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The fingerprint sensor scans fingerprints for use with biometric security applications.

You're very welcome.
For your model notebook, you should be using the HP Protect Tools software to enroll your fingerprint.
This package provides the HP ProtectTools Security Manager, which provides enhanced Windows login and website single-sign-on capabilities on supported notebooks with supported operating systems. Security Manager is also the host for HP ProtectTools plugins, and therefore should be installed before other ProtectTools modules.
