HP Pavilion Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I check to make sure my notebook has gotten the latest updates under Settings - Updates & Security, I keep seeing the following message: "HP Development Company LP - System 5/26/17 12:00:00AM-6.0.21.1 Error Ox800f0247". Each time I click on the Retry button, it comes back with this same error message. Should I be concerned that this update has apparently failed? What was this update for?

Many people have reported this same problem over the past few days. One theory is that WU is pushing a driver that is not needed/doesn't apply. MS and HP are aware of it and investigating.

Someone from Microsoft told one of our posters to use the Updates Troubleshooter to hide the update.

>Download Windows 10 Updates Troubleshooter Tool from Microsoft<

Run it and click on "Hide updates" option and you'll be able to hide desired update  in the list.
