I brought a hp laptop on 10 jul 21 . I am unable to access microsoft office. During the purchase retailer told me this laptop pre loaded microsoft office home & student 2019. I contacted to microsoft customers center they told me your laptop has  not pre loaded with microsoft office home & student.

There are pages and pages of models in this series.

I checked a few of them - all that I checked do indicate they include a Trial version of Office 365.

 

Check your model...

Open Category Product Information > Select "Specifications"

Find your product Specifications document,

Open the Document > scroll to the bottom of the page and check for information.

 

What else?

The software you mention is three years old at this point - even were it included "new", I would guess that this, too, was a Trial version of the software.  Trial software is meant to work for a little while and entice the customer to purchase that Office or other Software product. 

 

Regardless, if Microsoft will not honor your claim, your option is to purchase the software.

 

Yeah, but...

 

IF you just purchased the product new from HP, the license information for the software should have been included in your order confirmation email or the final purchase email / receipt.

 

If you purchased the product from HP, Contact HP Support

It is unlikely Support can track down a license document - this issue might be outside of the support venue.

Support can perhaps tell you whether the product came with the Office Software and a license.

 

Open website  HP World-Wide Support

Select your region and follow the prompts

 

What else?

If the lack of the software is a "deal breaker", that is, you cannot stand it -

If you cannot resolve the issue to your satisfaction -

If the product is within the Return Window (time to return varies by merchant) -

Then

Return the computer and purchase a different device.
