Unlock F.36 bios advanced hidden settings

I want to unlock my bios so that I may be able to access advanced options in my bios such as voltage control, and frequency setting. I want to know how can I do this. I know there is not a know recipe but it must not be completely hidden either. There must be some way to access those options either through unlocked bios update or some security injection like we have for android.

I will just lower my processor and gpu voltages to reduce power consumption. There must be some build not for production to achieve this. My AMD A6 - HP 245 G5 notebook pc is already out of warranty.

Please somebody guide me on this. Being a software engineer and not being able to tap the full power of my machine at hand, I feel very bad. Somebody who is aware of the solution please help me.

Sorry, but apart from business notebooks and some high-end gaming PCs, accessing Advanced BIOS option on HP PCs is not possible.

Some OEMs lock out the advanced BIOS options to prevent customers from making changes to options that can destabilize or otherwise damage the PC -- and then send it back for repair under warranty claiming they did nothing to it.

I know only SOME of the advanced options are risky, but it's simpler to disable access to ALL advanced options than to allow/disallow on an individual option basis.

That's the course of action that HP has chosen. No one from here is going to provide you any means of getting around that.

But that's simply a way to inhibit innovation. Even if something happens, taking it to service centre is useless.

You yourselves had written, not all options are risky. Its my device after all and I would love to use it my way. If something happens, I am neither blaming you nor the company.

You are clearly NOT getting the message -- HP has decided, as as matter of policy -- to lock out the Advanced BIOS settings.  We are not permitted to go against policy.
