Help I'm confused & to old to cry. I have a couple of issues some functions of the touchpad stopped working . I went through the testing modes I gat a mouse drag & drop test failure ID: RU7808-AHXB02-X07V41-G1SP03 the prod. ID:1E411AAV cur. ver:7.7.0.0 the l & r click buttons have stopped working . Next I tested wired network check and got the following message. "UEFI Networking doesn't appear to be supported or enabled, check BIOS settings to make sure UEFI Network option ROMS are enabled and UEFI boot is enabled. I also got a message saying my BIOS needs updating. So I did all the things to correct these issues but never saw anything called ROMS? Last of all following the prompts and provided links to update BIOS at HP support.com I find out that this brand new laptop I bought direct from HP 6 months ago HP doesn't support BIOS software and updates for their own laptop? And as I kept following the links HP support provided I somehow get lead to software and drivers . Can anyone tell me how or where to go to get the update for the BIOS. Two weeks ago Microsoft forums suggested I use the free Restoro app version and that was a bad bad mistake so I hope everyone will hear my warning. Those people at Restoro are liars and thieves. As I was using their free app a live person contacted me and started telling me I had a virus since April 2021 8 months ago and I didn't even have this until May 2021 and tried to get me to pay them $216 to fix they said a virus and 18,559 issues. They lied because I use my HP. support ass.app evey week and have McAfee Live Safe full version and both HP and McAfee said Restoro is lying I do not have a virus nor do I have 18,559 issues . That is the truth so believe me or don't but I can show proof be very careful if you use them I want to say thank you for any help to get the bios update I don't have to fix mouse pad my wireless mouse woks fine but will fix it after the bios.
Thank All of you people and may 2022 be a thousand times better then last year for you.

I can't help because I can't find any info on the model number you entered: GDJHQOAV0
You need to enter the correct number so I can do a search for software and BIOS updates.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP

I sent this 24 hours ago and have no idea why it auto saved instead of sending?
Thank you and to be safe I'm sending 4 files covering all the soft and hardware I believe. I have no idea what is wrong I have 3 more photo files to attach I tried each one in PNG and got the error unsupported file type so I uploaded them each again in JPG and got the same error message and once again i tried to upload them in JPEG and got the same error message and all 3 of those file types are supported s o I hope and pray the one I copied and pasted here has the info that you need . I have tried to copy and paste those files before and after i took the screenshots of them and it wouldn't let me copy & paste. I hate being so technologically illiterate. I have asked every tech like you and no one knows but do you know if there is a class I can take somewhere to learn how to do those things?
