I am using HP Pavilion g6-1061se Notebook, I am receiving Video TDR Failure error and turns to Blue screen of Death. My Lap is having 8GB RAM and a AMD Radeon HD 7400 M Series Display Drive in it.. Video TDR Failure is not happening when I disable my AMD display drive. My video editing projects are on hold due to this...  . Guys, waiting for your valuable reply to get rid off from this irritation issue.

@AniVava, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

This error is related to the Video card or the video driver installed on the PC. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

Power reset the PC

Refer to this document to know how.

Run a test on the hardware components of the PC

1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.

3. Perform System Test > Extensive test. Share the result on your next post.

If all the tests pass, Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Check for updates.
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

Also, check for any pending Windows update. Reboot the PC once done.

Let me know how this goes.
