Hi I just recently purcahsed a HP laptop online,however when logging on to my HP account to check the warranty.I have noticed that the warranty start date is incorrect as it started months before my purchase date.My laptop was purchased on the 18th of October 2020.However, the warranty start date is 23/08/20. Please can this be corrected asap.

Actually, from HP's perspective, the warranty date is correct as it is set when the PC is BUILT, not when it is SOLD.  They have no idea when someone will actually buy a specific PC, so they have to set it to something.

 

You will need to contact HP Customer Support to register your PC and get the warranty date reset:
