When i shut down my notebook power button is still light and cooler still making noise

Hello everyone. Yesterday 19.10.19 i updated my drivers from 'Hp support assistant' then i had a blinking screen all the time i open my browser. Then when i shut down my notebook screen turns off but power button still working 

Please i would be glad for any answer

Is the computer is shutting down or going into sleep mode?

How the shut down is being initiated - using the power button or the windows start men?

Meanwhile:

Perform a hard reset on the notebook:- Click here

Update the drivers using HP Support Assistant.

Download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: Click here

HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook

1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

   

2. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

   

3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also ensure Windows is up to date.

Select the Start  button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available

Disable hybrid sleep

1. Open up Power Options in the Control Panel. ...
2. Click "change plan settings" next to your current power plan.
3. Click "change advanced power settings"
4. Click the + sign next to "Sleep"
5. Click the + sign next to "Allow hybrid sleep" and change setting to "off"
6. Click OK.
