WWhere can I find a replacement power cord for a Pavillion dv7-4060us lap top?

 

All the after market ones I purchased get super hot, and will not charge my laptop, I can only use my laptop if it is plugged in and not while unplugged.

Smart AC power adapter (90W) - 100-240VAC input, 50-60Hz - 19.5VDC output, 4.62A, 90W, with power factor correction (PFC), and 7.4mm x 5.0mm barrel connector - Requires separate 3-wire AC power cord with C5 connector

 

You should be able to find a genuine used but tested and working condition power supply on eBay.

 

Search by the HP part number. 

 

693712-001 for sale | eBay

 

The used power adapters usually come with the power cord that goes from the wall socket to the adapter as well.
