Is it possible to find Windows 7 drivers for this system? It was originally running Windows 10 but now Windows 7.

You're very welcome.

Your notebook must need a different graphics driver than the one I gave you.

I found another HP notebook with the same processor and switchable graphics as yours, that also has W7 drivers, so see if this graphics driver works correctly.

You may want to uninstall the current catalyst control center and graphics driver before installing this driver package.

This package provides the AMD High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver and Catalyst Control Center for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. For notebooks with switchable graphics modes, this package includes drivers for both graphics processing units (GPUs). Switchable graphics enable users to switch between a power-saving graphics mode (normally used under battery power) and a high-performance graphics mode. If high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) video output is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.

Hi:

Yes it is.

You would have to get most of the drivers directly from the hardware manufacturer's websites--AMD for the chipset and graphics drivers, Realtek, for the audio, ethernet and card reader drivers.

Chipset:  Install and restart the PC.  You want the 1st file listed on the webpage.

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy4&os=Windows%207%20-%2064

Graphics:  1st file listed on the webpage.  Install and restart the PC

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy3&os=Windows%207%20-%2064

Audio:  Accept the agreement.  Download and install the 2nd file on the list and restart the PC.

Ethernet:  Download, unzip and run the setup application from the W7 driver file at the link below...

http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=7&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTy...

Card reader:  Download, unzip and run the setup application from the 1st file listed at the link below...

You can use the W10 touchpad driver from your notebook's support page, which also has the W7 drivers included.

If you let me know what model wifi adapter your notebook has, I will post the link to the W7 driver for it.

Thanks a lot for your help and fast reply. I will follow your instructions.

The model of my wifi adapter is Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8723BE PCIe Wireless Adapter. I hope that this information will help to find the right driver.

You're very welcome.

You need these W7 wifi and BT drivers for that model wifi adapter...

This package contains the driver installation package for the Realtek RTL8723BE/RTL8188EE wireless LAN Controller in the supported models running a supported operating system.

This package contains the driver installation package for the Realtek Bluetooth in the supported notebook/laptop models that are running a supported operating system.

Hi!

Thanks for the wifi and bluetooth drivers!

I still have some problems. After installing the graphics driver the following message appears every time I boot up: "No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the AMD driver appropriate for your AMD hardware."

Also I was not able to connect my monitor using HDMI cable on W7.

All the other stuff seemed to work just fine.

Hello,

now I have a new problem.

After one day my internal and external keyboards do not allow me to type on W7, though they work normally on BIOS and Linux. Do you have a solution for my new problem?

Hi:

Unfortunately, I would have no idea what to do about that problem.

I've never come across that before.

You may want to start a new post regarding that issue.
