After resetting your HP laptop, the system may ask you to select a keyboard layout. In most cases, you can safely choose English (United States), as it is the default and works well for general use. If you prefer a different layout (for example, English (UK) or a regional language), you can select the one you are most comfortable with.

 

If you’re unsure, don’t worry, the keyboard layout can always be changed later by going to.


Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region > Keyboard
