I have been prompted to download  HP Notebook System BIOS Update (AMD Processors. The "installation in progress" screen confirms that it is installing the update of 8.89 Mb but fails to complete. I have tried three times waiting over a hour each time with out success.  Would welcome your advice on how to resolve the problem.

I was able to get this problem resolved by Mike via on line chat on case no 3027047713 (WiFi disconnection issue). By using remote access on my notebook he was able to download the appropriate drivers. So far everything seems to be working ok.

Step 1. Find Your Current BIOS Version
Open the System Information app by clicking the Start button in Windows. Type System Information in the search box and click System Summary. Your BIOS version will be displayed under your computer's processor speed.
Step 2. Backup Your BIOS
Backup the BIOS first. The BIOS updater has the built-in “Save" or “Backup" functions.
Step 3. Find the Right Updates
Go to the manufacture's website to find the accurate BIOS update. Alternatively you can visit some famous driver update official websites to get the right BIOS update, like OSToto, which offers the latest BIOS update and other hardware driver updates. Download the update.
Step 4. Run the Downloaded Update for BIOS
Run the downloaded BIOS update and confirm it.
Step 5. Restart the Computer
After the update is completed, reboot the computer. Some updates may restart your computer automatically.
1. Install Driver Talent and launch it.
