I know almost EVERYBODY has issues with Windows 10 bluetooth.
I can't use my laptop bluetooth. I have my bluetooth options but cannot pair a new device, and either connect older paired devices. My bluetooth icon is visible, and I have checked the option "make me visible for other devices" (or something like that)
I have installed two drivers: Mediatek bluetooth Adapter V. 2.3.1.0, and Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator v. 10.0.16299.15. AND NONE OF THEM WORK.
I have done a bunch of Youtube tutorials in order to fix this problem, but NONE OF THEM WORK.
My drivers are up-to-date, I have changed settings in Windows Device Manager, unistalled and reinstalled the bluetooth drives, downloaded a new driver from the HP website. And guess what... NONE OF THAT WORKED!
I know I'm not the only one with this problem, and also know that my laptop has a built-in bluetooth hardware because before these bunch of windows actualizations, my bluetooth worked fine with no problems.
So, PLEASE. If somebody knows how to fix this problem he or she would be helping a lot of people. Probably would bring world peace too.
Thanks everybody!

World peace sounds like a worthy enough goal:smileyhappy:
Let's start by finding out more about your PC and adapter:
1. Hold WinKey and hit R and type msinfo32 and hit Enter
2. Let us know the System model and the System SKU from the Summary page
3. Right click on the Windows icon down left and select Device Manager
4. Expand the Bluetooth section
5. Right click on the Bluetooth adapter and select Properties
6. Click on the Details tab and select Hardware IDs Property, Let us know the Value lines
7. While you're at it, let us know the Hardware IDs for the WiFi adapter as well

Can you please do as follows:
1. Click on the Windows icon down left and type cmd.exe and right click on it an select Run as administrator
2. Enter the command SET DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES=1
3. Enter the command devmgmt.msc
4. Choose Show hidden devices from the View menu
5. Right click and select Uninstall device on every instance of the Mediatek/Ralink Bluetooth device you can see
6. Download and install
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71572.exe
7. Restart
Maybe you have already tried that driver but have to start from somewhere..

If that does not work, you could try the latest driver in Microsoft Update Catalog, V. 2.9.30.0 but it too is quite old, from 2015
You can open and extract the cab to a folder with e.g. 7-zip and then update using Device Manager and browsing to that folder. Or alternatively you can install from the cab directly using these instructions:
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/66346-install-cab-file-windows-10-a.html
The Microsoft catalog is here if you need it:

Which of all bluetooths drivers should I unistall? Should be the one named Rainlink (Mediatek) Bluetooth PCIe Adapter? Thanks for your help. I already donwloaded the sp71572 driver btw.
From my device manager. Notice the highlighted one

The picture is still being reviewed by the censors but yes, that should be the hardware adapter to act on.

I followed the steps of your first solution and now my bluetooth shows the new bluetooth devices around. THAT'S A BIG STEP. But when I click "connect" it's says: "we didn't get any response from the device". What should I do know? 😞
Again, thanks for your awnsers and time.

Try deleting the Bluetooth device in question from the list and scroll down in the Bluetooth & other devices list and select More Bluetooth options and tick the Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC and try adding again.
Not the safest option but might help to connect and you can disable afterwards.
Not sure if this helps but it may as it seems the drivers are not top notch for Windows 10

You should check this Windows update as well:
